Honda CBR 250 R officially launched PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) in Indonesia on February 25, 2011. Honda CBR 250R comes with Full Fairing Sporty design that is inspired by the model and the Honda CBR1000RR Honda VFR1200F and supported by the latest technological innovations that generate acceleration capabilities, agility, ease of control and fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly, making the Honda CBR 250R as "World Wide Sport Quarter" that "Fun to Ride". Honda CBR 250R is marketed in two types: ABS and STD.
Here are some advanced features that are owned by this motor:
  • Combined Antilock Braking System (Combined-ABS) * - First applied in the world for the 250 CC motorcycle class.
  • Pro-link Rear Suspension - Suspension Pro-Link system that is lightweight and compact with a 5 position adjustment to cushion the area, allowing a more progressive movement to add stability and ride comfort.
  • Front & Rear Disc Brake.
  • PGM-FI system (Injection) - Making the Honda CBR 250R is more fuel efficient and reduce exhaust emissions.

Differences type ABS and STD

Honda CBR 250R is equipped with ABS type of new technologies Combined Antilock Braking System (Combined-ABS). This technology is the incorporation of technology Antilock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Combi.
This technology was first applied in the world for motor 250CC class. This technology provides effective braking performance during sudden braking or on slippery road conditions.
Honda CBR 250R is equipped with a type of STD only braking Combi Brake

About Combined-ABS

Combined-ABS is a merger of the Combi-brake system with ABS system, whereby when the foot brake pedal is pressed, then the ABS system will work on front and rear wheels in proportion, whereas when the handbrake lever is pressed, then the ABS system will work on the front wheels only.
Antilock Braking System is a braking system that prevents wheel lock-up that occurs in sudden braking or hard. This system will work when part or all wheel stops while the motor is still drove make the vehicle out of control.
In type Combined-ABS equipped with 3-piston front brakes, speed sensor (speed sensor) on the front and rear wheels are functioning detect the condition of the vehicle, and the ABS modulator contained therein ECU. ECU processes the information from the speed sensor and control hydraulic pressure that led to each kaliper.Dengan keep the wheels are not locked, safe and effective braking during sudden braking or on slippery road conditions (when it rains).
